Use Reason on the web, or in the Mac app.

Every plan you pay for, in one agent.

Most coding agents run on one vendor's plan: Claude Code on a Claude plan, Codex on ChatGPT, and Copilot's agents on GitHub Copilot. Reason lets you connect ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Business, Claude Pro or Max, SuperGrok or X Premium+, GitHub Copilot and your own API keys, and pick the model per task; hit your limit and it keeps going on your other connected accounts or Reason credits.

Put every subscription in one coding agent

  1. Open Reason on the web or the Mac app

Sign in at reasonmachines.com, or download the Reason app for macOS from reasonmachines.com/download. Both open the same Sessions. Sending work to Reason needs a Pro or Max plan.

  2. Connect your subscriptions

Open Settings › Models. Under Subscriptions, choose Connect Claude, Sign in with ChatGPT, Grok or GitHub Copilot, and sign in with each plan you pay for. You can connect more than one account per provider.

  3. Add API keys or a gateway

Under API keys, add a key from a provider such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral or DeepSeek; under AI gateways, connect OpenRouter, Vercel AI Gateway, Cloudflare AI Gateway or OpenCode.

  4. Pick the model per task

In the composer, choose the model for the Session. Each Session shows the model and account it ran on, so you can see which plan did the work.

  5. Keep going at a limit

When the account a turn runs on hits its limit, Reason moves the turn to your other connected accounts for that provider, then to Reason credits if your workspace can pay, and says so in the conversation.

Reason: all your AI subscriptions in one coding agent

Use the subscriptions you already pay for (ChatGPT Plus/Pro/Business, Claude Pro/Max, SuperGrok or X Premium+, GitHub Copilot) or your own API keys in one coding agent. Hit your limit? Reason keeps going on your other connected accounts or Reason credits.

Reason is an always-on teammate that is also a coding agent: its own cloud computer per Session, memory across Sessions, Loops and Slack. Choose the model per task, from your connected plans or Reason's own models, and Reason works on a branch and opens a pull request.

On cost: in Reason's published benchmark on GPT-6 Astra at xhigh effort, with the same tasks and graders, Reason 1.1 scored 65.1 against Codex's 62.5 on Coding Agent Index v1.5, at 22% lower cost per solved task. That's Reason's benchmark of its own harness, with the runner published to reproduce it.

Questions

Can I use all my AI subscriptions in one coding agent?

In Reason, yes: Settings › Models connects ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Business, Claude Pro or Max, SuperGrok or X Premium+ and GitHub Copilot, plus API keys, and you pick the model per task. opencode also takes ChatGPT Plus or Pro and Copilot.

Does using my own subscription cost Reason credits?

No. Work that runs on your connected subscription or API key is billed by that provider and keeps its limits. Reason credits pay for Reason's own models and cloud computers.

Can I connect two accounts from the same provider?

Yes. Settings › Models takes more than one account per provider, and when one hits its limit Reason moves the turn to the next.

What happens in Reason when I hit my plan's limit?

Hit your limit? Reason keeps going on your other connected accounts or Reason credits. The turn moves to your other connected accounts for the same provider, then to Reason credits if your workspace can pay, and the conversation says which account it continued on.

What does Reason cost?

Pro is $50 a month per person with 1,250 credits a week, and Max is $200 a month with 5,000; a credit is $0.04, and top-ups from $20 never expire. Work on your own connected subscriptions or API keys is billed by that provider and keeps its limits.

Is Reason affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or GitHub?

No. Reason is built by Reason Machines and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub, Anysphere or xAI. Facts about their products come from their own docs, linked under Sources.
