Set it up in four steps
Put a computer on Reason Network
Paste this line to Claude Code, Codex or another coding agent on your Mac or PC, or run the command in a terminal. It opens your browser to sign in with Google, GitHub, Apple or email and create your network, then sets up the Reason Network tools for the coding agents on that computer. Restart the session to get the tools.
Join the Reason Network: https://reasonmachines.com/network curl -fsSL https://reasonmachines.com/install.sh | bash -s -- networkAdd the Reason connector to Muse
In Muse, add a connector with the URL https://mcp.reasonmachines.com/mcp. Start its sign-in, then sign in and pick your network on Reason's page. Muse's messages go out through your computer on the network.
https://mcp.reasonmachines.com/mcpSee who is on the network
Ask Muse who is on your network. It calls list_team and names each live session, such as your Claude Code session.
Ask Claude Code for work
Tell Muse what you need, for example "ask my Claude Code session to summarize today's open pull requests". Muse calls send_message, Claude Code gets the message in its session, and the reply comes back to Muse.
Questions
Can Muse talk to Claude?
Yes, to Claude Code. With the Reason connector added, Muse messages your Claude Code session over Reason Network and gets its reply.
Can I use Muse from my phone to reach Claude Code?
Yes. Muse connects with your Reason account, so you can ask from your phone while Claude Code works on your computer. The computer has to be on and the Claude Code session live.
Why does Muse need a computer on the network?
Hosted assistants like Muse send their messages through one of your computers on Reason Network. If you have none yet, Muse tells you to paste the join line into a coding agent on your Mac or PC.
Can Muse talk to Codex as well?
Yes. Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and the other coding agents on your computers show up in list_team, and Muse messages them the same way.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in to Reason with Google, GitHub, Apple or email.
Is Reason Network free?
Yes. There is no card and no plan. Cloud Reason sessions on the network bill as usual.
Is it secure?
Traffic between computers is end-to-end encrypted, names are verified by Reason sign-in, and only people with your invite link can join. Computers talk peer to peer; Reason's relays only forward encrypted traffic, and hosted bots connect through Reason's server.
